Everything you need to know before you arrive at Remington Farm

We’re excited to welcome you to Remington Farm Equestrian Academy. Whether you’re joining us for a day clinic or a multi-day experience, our goal is to create a smooth, safe, and enjoyable environment for both horse and rider.

Below you’ll find everything you need to prepare for your visit—and a place to submit required information ahead of time so we can best support you and your horse.


Before You Arrive: Required Information

To ensure the health and safety of all horses on the property, we require the following prior to arrival:

Current Vaccination Records (within the last 6 months recommended)

Please submit all documentation at least 48 hours prior to your clinic.


What to Bring

For Your Horse:

Tack and equipment appropriate for your discipline

Grooming kit

Hay and grain

Blankets/sheets as needed (clearly labeled)

For You:

ASTM/SEI approved helmet (required while mounted)

Appropriate riding attire

Weather-appropriate layers

Water, snacks, and lunch (unless otherwise noted)

What We Provide Onsite:

Water buckets (cleaned and sanitized before your arrival)

Mucking equipment

Bedding

Overnight trailer parking

Additional bagged shavings are available for purchase onsite


Arrival & Parking

Arrival Window: we welcome your arrival after 3pm on the day before your clinic starts (unless otherwise arranged for an earlier arrival)

Parking: Trailer parking will be clearly marked upon entry. Please follow signage and staff direction when parking.

Check-In: Stop by the designated check-in area upon arrival. Our team will direct you to your assigned stall or trailer parking.


Stabling & Facility Use

Stalls: Pre-assigned for clinic participants (if applicable) Please respect all stall assignments and barn organization

Clean-Up: Manure buckets and pitch forks are placed throughout the property, please pick up manure in a timely manner. Keep hay around your trailer/stall area tidy. Leave your space as you found it.

Shared Spaces: Be mindful and courteous in aisles, arenas, and warm-up areas so we can maintain a collaborative learning environment.


Arena Etiquette & Safety

At Remington Farm, safety is a shared responsibility:

Horses are flight animals—always remain aware of your surroundings

Maintain safe spacing between horses

Pass left shoulder to left shoulder when possible

Call out “inside” or “outside” when passing

Follow all clinician and staff direction

Children and guests are the responsibility of clinic participants
