Education & Programs Coordinator & Instructor
A-rating in both eventing and dressage through the United States Pony Club (USPC) at just 18 years old. What began as teaching during college in 2005 quickly turned into a lifelong career, and in 2010 Erika founded Erika Lee Equestrian, a successful training program she led for over a decade. While her business now operates in a smaller capacity, that experience laid the groundwork for her longtime dream: helping to build and shape a riding academy. Erika is thrilled to be part of bringing that vision to life at Remington Farm. She remains deeply connected to the equestrian community, especially through supporting local Pony Clubs, which she believes provide an excellent foundation in horsemanship and life skills for riders of all ages.
In her teaching, Erika focuses on building confidence in both horse and rider by emphasizing clear communication, partnership, and harmony. She loves seeing her students develop into well-rounded riders who value not just the sport, but also the leadership, responsibility, and respect for horses that come with it. As an active competitor in both eventing and dressage, Erika is a USDF bronze medalist, has developed horses and riders through the preliminary level, and is currently working toward her USDF silver medal.
Known for her upbeat attitude and genuine love of the sport, Erika approaches each horse and rider as an individual. Her wide-ranging experience across disciplines gives her creative tools to help young or challenging horses, while her philosophy stays grounded in the basics: patience, empathy, and consistent, thoughtful training. Above all, Erika believes happy horses and confident riders are built in positive, encouraging environments—and she brings that energy to every lesson.

and her future. Now stepping into her professional role as Equine Health and Wellness Coordinator, she brings over 15 years of hands-on experience across the industry. Her background includes work as a working student, groom, barn manager, exercise rider, horse trainer, riding instructor, and equine veterinary assistant. Roles that have shaped her deep understanding of horse care, training, and the emotional bond between horse and rider.
Her skillset is due in part to her 9 years of involvement in Pony Club, where she developed not only advanced horsemanship skills but also a strong sense of leadership and service. As a two-year member of the National Youth Board, Charlotte helped shape programming and advocate for member needs on a national level. She is currently pursuing her HB and HA certifications, reflecting her commitment to continued growth and excellence in equine management and riding.
Charlotte is especially skilled in working with behaviorally challenged and traumatized horses, and in supporting riders, both children and adults, who are new to the saddle or navigating insecurities. Her coaching philosophy centers on building trust and confidence, helping horses feel secure in their daily lives and guiding riders to grow at their own pace. She is known for her grounded, compassionate approach and her ability to meet each student exactly where they are, fostering growth without pressure or expectation.
A strong advocate for the “horse before the sport” ideology, Charlotte prioritizes the physical and emotional well-being of every horse she works with. Her teaching style is rooted in patience, empathy, and a belief in partnership over performance. She is currently studying equine massage and bodywork, expanding her holistic approach to equine wellness and deepening her understanding of the horse as a whole.
Before joining the academy, Charlotte founded and operated her own equine business, which is currently on hold as she focuses on expanding her skillset and gaining broader experience. Her time at the academy represents a pivotal chapter in her journey, one that is preparing her to return to her business with a stronger foundation and to pursue her long-term goal of competing professionally at the 5-star level in eventing.
Outside the barn, Charlotte is a passionate artist and writer, blending creativity with her equestrian pursuits. Her multifaceted experience and unwavering dedication make her a valued member of the Remington Farm Equestrian Academy team.

schools, gaining experience through a range of accredited programs. By 15, her passion had evolved into a commitment—she became a working student and groom for several instructors, eventually stepping into the role of Assistant Trainer for an Oregon-based professional specializing in groundwork, liberty, and dressage biomechanics. There, she worked extensively with young and feral horses, and began teaching lessons to beginner and youth riders.
Alongside her equestrian pursuits, Chelsey managed administrative and bookkeeping duties for her family's businesses, developing a strong foundation in operations that she continued to refine through roles with multiple companies and nonprofits, eventually earning her the role of Education & Training Lead for an international team of business managers and accountants. Her organizational expertise and love for horses came together through her longstanding involvement with Washington 4-H, where she led one of the largest clubs in Pierce County. She's conducted many clinics and judged various competitions across Pierce and King Counties, and co-authored multiple equine education curriculums for schools and programs.
Chelsey is also an accomplished competitor in both local circuits and the Pinto Horse Association, showing in disciplines such as Showmanship, Equitation, Trail, Ranch Horse, Western Riding, Hunt Seat, and Dressage. Many of her achievements have been earned with her self-trained rescue mare, a testament to her dedication and skill with sensitive horses. Now as the Chief of Administration and an Instructor at Remington Farm Equestrian Academy, Chelsey is thrilled to bring her unique blend of experience, education, and enthusiasm to a new generation of horse lovers.
IEA, Show Team Manager & Instructor
understanding of horse training began as a working student at the age of nine, where she honed her skills by assisting her instructors and trainers in developing green school horses into safe, reliable mounts for beginner riders. Anna's passion for professional horse training was sparked during these formative years. She later purchased two green-broke Arabians, training them to advanced levels. Glory Days Equestrian is named after one of these special horses. Anna’s history with less-than-perfect horses has made her a top destination for the “reject” horses, who need a fresh start and quiet, compassionate training. Each of Glory Days’ lesson horses came to Anna’s program with very little training, and have become safe, kind mounts through careful, kind training.
Anna's philosophy encourages clients to invest in horses within their means and that align with their goals, emphasizing the importance of training both horse and rider to foster lasting partnerships built on trust and commitment.
Founded in 2016 with just one lesson horse, Glory Days Equestrian has grown into a nurturing, family-friendly environment dedicated to developing confident riders proficient in all aspects of horsemanship, from barn management to competition. Riders are expected to learn comprehensive horse care, not just to ride and leave. We pride ourselves on teaching the full spectrum of equine care and tailoring each lesson to the individual goals and needs of each horse and rider. Our program also emphasizes a healthy mind-body connection, incorporating mindfulness, body awareness, and a thoughtful approach to how our body mechanics influence our horses.
As Glory Days continues to grow, Anna remains committed to ongoing education to provide the highest level of instruction. Recent accolades include being named Lake Washington Saddle Club Trainer of the Year, coaching an IEA National qualifying riders two seasons in a row, and leading our high school IEA team to a 2nd place finish in the Zone. Anna regularly trains under nationally recognized trainers and clinicians to further her education. Each year, we strive to raise the standard of excellence.

In recent years, Siena founded Crescendo Equestrian Training, an independent program where she works across a range of disciplines, including dressage, hunters, jumpers, and eventing. Her training approach reflects a strong commitment to collaboration, clear communication, and a deep understanding of the mechanics of riding.
Siena is especially passionate about helping riders grasp the "how" and "why" behind each movement, creating lessons that are not only educational but also engaging, thoughtful, and fun.
